Can I Get Another Typhoid Vaccination Before The Expiry Of The Earlier One?

Hi,

I am travelling from Sydney to the Cook Islands in a couple of months and my last typhoid vacinnation will expire the 3 year period while I'm away (we go over it by 5 days). Is it advisable to get another shot?

I am happy to have another vaccination however we are thinking of starting to try to conceive around the same time so I'm not sure how long after a vaccination it is advisable to wait before stopping contraception and attemtping to fall pregnant.

Typhoid vaccination is taken every 3 years, few days before after the date does not matter.
Typhoid vaccine has no relation to stoppage or continuation of contraception.
