Can I Give Bentyl For Diarrhea With Stomach Pain?
My 7 year old has been having generalized intermittent abdominal pain for 6 days. We went to the ER last night. Appendicitis was ruled out. CT showed mesenteric adenopathy. Labs were normal other than elevated CRP. She is still in mod-severe pain (7-8). She is tolerating clear liquids. She just started having diarrhea. Would it be okay to give bentyl to her for the cramping along with the diarrhea?

as per history she may suffering from gastroenteritis.we may try couse of antibiotic and anti spasmodic for symptoms relief
