Can I Take Ofloxacin-ornidazole To Treat Loose Stools With Mucus?

Dear Doctor, my 8 month old baby has been suffering from loose stools, mucus with greenish color stools( semi solid , sometimes watery ). I doubted as bacterial infection so started Ofloxacin-ornidazole suspension. With this I have started One probiotic ( enterogermina), so please do let me know if any changes or if the treatment line is wrong . Thanks Dr.Kiran

Most common cause of loose stools in children is Rota virus infection and is self limiting .Oral re hydration is all that is required.
