Can Methadose And Thyroid Medication Be Taken Together?
I have been taking methadose for 6 months now. I have been taking thyroid medication for 20 years. In the past 3months all the symptoms of hypothyroidism have become all too real! My TSH levels are below extremes. Is the methadose effecting my thyroid meds? is there info about this anywhere?

Hello and thanks for your question. There are no drug interactions between the methadone and thyroid supplements like levothyroxine. It is important that you take the thyroid medication every day, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I do not think the methadone is the cause of your thyroid problems.
