Can Synthroid And Alendronate Can Be Taken Together?

My Dad is 77 yrs. old. He is on Synthroid 150mcg OD. He also takes Alendronate 70 mg tab every Saturday morning. I just learnt from him that he skips his synthroid that day. How should he address this without having to give up his synthroid on Saturdays? Thank you. Belinda

Hi,
He can take his Synthroid every day. However, for this drug, a missed dose will not significantly reduce it's effect.
