Hi, thank you for asking healthcare Magic.
CRP (C Reactive Protein) is a nonspecific marker of inflammation or infection in the body. Its normal value is less than 6 mg/L. It increases when there is an infection or inflammation. Uric acid is within the normal range. Associating an increase in CRP levels with the pain your wife is feeling, it could be possible that she has an infection or inflammation at the level of joints (arthritis). Some other tests like analysis of joint fluid (synovial fluid), full blood count, Rheumatoid Factor and may be X-rays might be needed to determine the cause. Treatment will depend on the cause. You do not have to worry so much for the increase in CRP is just mild.

I hope that answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. We will be delighted to answer more questions from you.
