Can Belpalsy Come Back After Long Time ?

I had belpalsy when I was 14. The symptoms persisted for 6 months before correcting themselves I am now 35 and over two weeks ago I had the twitching of the eye and mouth and my eye was watering but the symptoms seemed to subside so I did not follow up but last thursday I woke to find that my face had dropped and I had lost some sensation in one side of my face and felt as though I was dribbling. When I visited the local GP he checked my reflexes and noticed that the knee and ankle on the same side we're also compramised therefore asked that I be seen by the emergency department at the local hospital. The practioner there did not check any of my reflexes but examined my face and concluded that I had oestiomylitis?? I took three days of steroids a combination of antibiotics and anti histamines. Sunday was the last day of treatment. Monday night whilst laying in bed after some exercise(lol) I felt a little funny and thought maybe just needed to roll over for fresh air but then I felt my body heating up rapidly and I got very dizzy feeling like at any moment I would throw up or pass out and very disorientated. I tried to call to my husband sleeping beside me as I was unable to move but couldn't yell out The last thing I remember was thinking don't pass out and get up and have a shower the next thing I woke Tuesday morning. Since this my husbands boss's daughter has now been diagnosed with belspalsy. Please respond as I am a little confused as to what is going on since I was told at the age of 14 this was not a contagious condition and would like your opinion on these recent events please ease or confirm some of my confusion.
