Hi, thank you for posting.

The symptoms of cervical disorders are related with the damage of neck vertebrae.

If the vertebrae C2, C3 and C4 are damaged the symptoms are:
-Occipital headache.
-Dizziness.
-Nausea.
-Blurring of vision.
-Swelling of fingers.
-Tension and knots in the neck and shoulders.

Irritation of nerve C5 causes pain in shoulder, in the middle of the arm numbness in index finger.

Arthtritis in your right knee isn't connected with your cervical problem.

The diagnose is based in the history of disease, symptoms and neck X-ray to check the condition of vertebrae.
You also need a blood sedimentation rate test to determine if your problem is inflammatory.

Hot procedures will help the relief of neck pain. You need physiotherapy and you should sleep with a normal pillow.
In your case also is used anti inflammatory and antalgezic medicines.

You should contact your neurologist.
