Can Concussion After Head Injury Lead To Sickness In Stomach And Shooting Pain In Head?

how long can u have a concussion .I hit my left side of my head towards the top.on 11-8-13 I hit so hard I feel to my knees .i laid there for a few mintues and got up and was hurting real bad. with an a few minutes I was getting really sick to my stomach.and I have not felt the same sense that happened.i still get feeling sick to my stomach and I get a shooting pain from one side of the head to the other.i don t have insurance and I really need to have a xray too see whats happening with me. please help thank you faith a martin

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.

The effects of concussion can remain there for a few days and sometimes for a week or two.

As of now, you can take symptomatic treatment for pain, nausea and dizziness.

If the headaches persist, then, you should get a CT scan of the head done to rule out any internal injury to brain.
