Can Delayed Taliking And Walking Be Symptoms Of Autism?

My nephew has gray matter heterotopia. I cant find alot of information on thr disorder. I work at a children s hospital and have checked in the library. My question is relating to the developmental delays and extent of intellectual disability. He is turning 4 and is not talking or walking. He loves to watvh tv. He arm flaps. Could he possibly be autistic as well? He does have seizures but is on meds to control.

Hi
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
Grey matter heterotopia by itself can lead to seizures and development delay.
Don't think autism is causing it.
