Can Doctor Check The Lower Edge Of The Placenta In Pregnancy?
Hi I ve been for my 20 weeks scan today but I m 21+4 and they have made an appointment for in 7 days time as they had problems seeing the internal head, lips, fetal heart, upper spine and kidneys plus they want to check the lower edge of the placenta. What should I make of this as I m very concerned

This is the anomaly scan it can be done anytime from 20 to 22 wks ma incase we Don c some particular part of the fetus we do cal d put on a later date to complete the study it is absolutely normal.nothing to worry,it actually means u r wit a doc who is doing a genuine study n not giving a hurried report
