Can Gastroenteritis With Diarrhea Cause Low Sed Rate?

I am 34 year old female and i was acutely ill 2 weeks ago. my sed rate was 60 (normal not above 39). two weeks later after i have improved they re-tested it. now it's 87. my illness was gastro. with diahrrea. just acute - also had dehydration.

I really appreciate your concern, what the sed rate is given here is not the direct indication of any pathophysiology but it just indicates that it is the illness, and it could be chronic one, most of the time it is the chronic infection can increase the rate, even in the healthy subjects it may comes elevated, so associated clinical condition is matter of concern, and not the SED rate, once the disease being cured still SED rate would high, and it is not being taken into consideration hope this information helps.
