Can I Give 'ofloxacin' Syrup To My Child For Controlling Diarrhea?

My 4 months old baby (weight 6.36KG) is suffering from diarrhea for last 15 days. Culture test shows groth of E.coli and sensitivity to differenet antibiotics. Kindly suggest if Ofloxacin syrup (35mg : 5 ml = 50mg )is ok as a dosage?

Ofloxacin can be given for diarrhea in 4 months baby safely.
The dose of ofloxacin is 15 mg/kg body weight.
I think the dose you are giving is OK.
