Can Krimson Influence The HCG Levels With PCOS?

Hi, i am suffering from PCOS so i am using krimson 35 for past 6 years, i was married 1 year back and continued using that tablet but i missed my period on 23rd december 2011, i went for a blood test and my hcg was less than 1miU/ml, now i doubt whether the result is accurate or not, will krimson 35 influence my hcg level by any chance? can i continue taking it?

Hi,

Krimson tablet does not alter the Hcg hormone value. But once the pregnancy test is positive, you should stop the drug and review with your doctor for further management. So kindly stop the drug. Generally it is advised that Pregnancy should be avoided for a month after stopping the drug.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
