Can Monkey Scratches Causes Rabies With Fever And Headaches?

a monkey scratches my daughter 18 days back.its small scratch and fully cured.yesterday she started fever and headache.so i am afraid about rabies.so is there any chance for rabies even a scratch from monkey?.is it suggested to take vaccination after 18 days?

Monkey scratches can cause Rabies.
The incubation period is normally 2 months to 2 years.
Vaccination should be started as soon as possible, the starting day is taken as '0' day and continue shots on 3rd, 7th, 14th and 28 days.
