Can Ofloxacin Syrup Be Given To The Child If Having UTI?

hi, my daughter is having urinary tract infection ,she is diagnosed to have proteaus vulgaris in her urine examination.she was given ofloxacin syrup 6 months before when she got the infection before.please tell me whether i have to give same medicine and dosage.she is 2yrs old
