Can Oral Sex Cause Rash In Private Area Which Is Red And Irritating ?

After oral sex, my finace got a rash on his chin and two days later I developed a rash in my private area as well. Both rashes are itchy but mine is more red, irritated, ichy and sometimes burns with sharp occasional pains. His rash went away but mine is still there. I have never had sex before but my finace has in the past but shows no signs of any stds. Plus we have had oral sex many times before and never had this issue. What's going on here?

having oral sex and after that such rash and itch develop may be due to infection .
it may be due to herpes infection also.
consult skin specialist for local examination .
