Can Painkillers Like Vicodin And Percocet Have Effect On Heart?

Why do painkillers make me feel like I m having a heart attack? This happened once with vicodin (post op) and percocet (also post op). I keep ending up in pain because I can t handle the heart effects of the medications. How do these medications do this to the heart?
