Can Raisins In Gin Be Used To Remedy Arthritis? Taking Diva Acorn For Diabetes. Have Ligament Sprain

I have been recommended a. Mixture of 9 raisins soaked in gin for one week as a remedy for arthritis. Would that be detrimental to my diabetes type 2 which is now under control with diva acorn. I am 78 yrs of life with reasonable good health, but suffering from a painful sprain of a ligament ion the left leg (pelvic) which is more painful than the osteo stenosis plus other spine problems just diagnosed and waiting on successful treatment to be recommended. Other than that, life is wonderful. Thank you dr.
