Can Swimming Exercises Cause Delay In Period? Having No Symptoms Of Periods Arrival

I am a 35 year old woman and I have started swimming 2 months ago. I swim 3 days a week for about 1 kilometer.
So far my periods were always on time (31 days). However last month my period was 2 days late (on the 33rd) and this month I am already 4 days late and I have no symptoms of an oncoming period. There is absolutely no chance that I am pregnant. Could it be the swimming exercise causing my delay or should I worry about something else like perimenopause?
