Can Taking Loporomide Hydrochloride Be Safe Diarrhea?

my father is a diabetic and also heart patient. today early morning he had loose motion several times and also vomited once. He took Loporomide hydrochloride tablets ( 2 Nos). Now his stomach is almost empty and he is feeling weak. Kindly advice!

Hi,

Loperamide is a very preferred medication to treat diarrhea. I recommend using two tablets first and then one table in every episode of diarrhea. It works by slowing down the movement of the gut. I also recommend usage daily probiotics.
