Can Taking Metronidazole Result In Black And Green Stool?

I am on metronidazole 3 times a day for an intestinal parasite infection. I have taken this a couple months ago for the same infection. Right now I am experiencing black and green stools. Should I be concerned? The stools are not like diarrhea but are not super solid either.

Hello,
Metronidazole can cause black stools and hence there is nothing to worry.
It will go away once the treatment is completed and metronidazole stopped.
