Can Terconzole Be Used Externally For Swelling In Labia Minora?

my labia minora on the right side has become swollen. However, there's this cream called terconzole that my doctor prescribed to me about a month ago for me to use internally. What I would like to know is would you recommend that I use the terconazole externally as well.

Terconazole is used to treat yeast infections. It can be used on the external genitalia, but if the swelling is not from a yeast infection, it will not help. It is best to have the swelling examined. If it is an abscess or other type of infection, the treatment is completely different. Hope this helps.
