Can The New Brain Cells Overcome The Malformed Portion Of The Brain?
can the new brain cells growing in the brain of an infant overcome the malformed portion of the brain (the polymicrogyria) resulting in a normal healthy child. will seizures from this malformed portion cause seizures throughout the entire lifetime?
polymicrigyria is developmental anamoly. ...and less likely to be corrected by brain cells . Most of the times...it remains asymptomatic....while in others it causes seizures.. If seizures don't respond to adequate doses of medicines. ....then Epilepsy surgery is an option.
