Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Prevacid is the medicine given for gastritis, gastric ulcer, etc. whereas Debridat is prescribed for irritable bowel syndrome. Hence both the drugs have different functions. I suggest that you consult the treating doctor and then take a decision. The doctor may like to review the case and revisit his diagnosis or management.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter all the best.
