Child. Fever. No Help From Corcin DS . No Other Symptoms, Good Appetite, Active. Suggest
hi doctor, my child aged 7yrs weighting 17.4kg, is having fever for the past two days, without any symytoms, she is eating, playing, and she is active, for the past 2 days iam giving crocin DS 4ml tds, today morning after giving the crocin syrup her temperature didnt come down, it was 101 to 101.4 till now, pls advice me

sometimes it does happens that crocin is unable to bring the temperature down.do cold water sponging to bring the fever down if its too high or not coming down.you can give crocin 4 times a day to your baby if fever is reoccuring to your baby.if there is no other symptoms thn it may be viral so continue with crocin only.still the fever persists or your child develops some other symptoms thn plz have an expert consultation.dont try other medications to bring down the fever without consultations as they have lot more side effects

Fever will persists for 2 to 3 days.
For fever you can give crocin-ds 5ml 6th hourly depending on the presence of fever and do tepid sponging with lukewarm water if there if high fever.
Maintain child hydration.
If the fever persists, consult the doctor for examination and investigations.

note temp record 6hrly.if temp.come down to normal then do ps &mal antigen.mean time ct. crocin if temp.goes above 101
