Hi Doctor,
We stay in Mumbai. My 3 year old daughter has recurrent cold, cough with wheezing. She started having this problem from the time she is 6 months old. Her doctor usually prescribes Coriminic syrup/Allegra for cold, nebulization with Duolin repules for wheezing. This time she prescribed molev to be used for around a month and a half, until the monsoon rains go down. She also prescribed budecort for the cough. I know that molev is montelukast + levocetrizine as I myself take similar medicines for my allergic rhinitis, but not sure if it is safe for my 3 year old kid, that too for as long as one and half months. So I wanted to have a second opinion on continuing with this medicine.
