Child. Vomiting After Food Intake. Detected Stomach Flu. Serious?

Hi. My 17 month old has been randomly vomiting after/during meals for the past month. He did develop a virus his pediatrician termed to be "stomach flu" but that has resolved for about 4 days now with no more fever or symptoms. He has just vomited again while eating lunch today and I am wondering if this could be due to overeating or something more serious? Hope you can help. Thanks!

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

It is very common for children to vomit following a upper respiratory tract infection which appears to be the case with your son. I suggest that you can observe him for the next day or two and in case it persists you should revisit the treating doctor.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your son an early recovery.
