Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Hand foot mouth disease is due to a virus and in which usually antibiotics are not required.

Simple paracetamol drops for fever, and calamine rash for external application is sufficient.

Pus filled lesions are due to bacterial skin infections and they require medication with antibiotic.

Exposing the child to sun at this age is not required.

Consult the pediatrician again for reexamination and to advise any modification in treatment.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
