Hello.my nine month son had lab work done yesterday, WBC was normal, but had 256 Alkaline PHOS and 61.6 Lymphocytes..slightly low hemogloin at 10.6 and hematocrit at 32.3, RBC WAS 4.35 AND MCV was 74. also had creatinine , serum was low at .3. This is my 4th living child (lost one who was a twin to my 3rd child). was 9lb 3oz at birth, but at 9 months is by far the smallest child, still wears 3-6 month clothes. please help me understand these lab results
Except for a slightly low hemoglobin (mild anemia), the lab results of your child are normal for his age. It would be good to know his current weight and height, as well as development status. Some kids take a little longer to grow, without it being a signal of any diseases. But to know that a pediatrician should follow his growth and development.

Child Done With Lab Work. Is This Normal?
Hi, Thank you for your query. Except for a slightly low hemoglobin (mild anemia), the lab results of your child are normal for his age. It would be good to know his current weight and height, as well as development status. Some kids take a little longer to grow, without it being a signal of any diseases. But to know that a pediatrician should follow his growth and development. Have a nice day and good luck.
