Child Got Rashes, Swelling, Reddishness On Full Body After Taking Polio Drop, Apple Juice Thereafter. What Could Be Reason?

good day doctor my son 8 month old he took polio drops on Sunday and after that he took apple juice in 15 mins then after 1 hour he took egg rice, after 1 hour he got rashes & swelling & reddishness on his full body. i want to know the reason why? next day it is cleared slowly is that i want to consult any doctor , pls explain..... why it had happened.

Hi,
OPV has minimum side effects. It can lead GT upset like diarrhea and vomiting.Some times redness in the body , swelling, mild fever and lasts for 24- 48 hours
