Child Had A Sour Drink. Also Had A Day Old Formula. Will This Be Of Any Problem?
my son (9 months) had some juice earlier. he drank it fine with no problem but I just went to get him some now and realized that it was sour. I figured it was getting close to turning but forgot to take it out of the fridge and my grandma made his sippy earlier. is he gonna be fine cause I know that juice sours and turns to wine. also I have accidentally given him day old formula before too. about 4 oz of it before I realized I grabbed the wrong bottle.

Hi, it appears that the drink, is out dated and became sour, such drink he had now and even before also. So don't worry about it and see that it is not repeated again.
Always try to give him fresh juices as far as possible. and the fresh fruits also will be nice instead of the tinned ones. Thank you.

child will have symptoms of fever, vomiting , diarrhea if there is any problem with drink you have given.
if your child is having any above symptoms give plenty of fluids, ORS solution.
still symptoms not decreasing consult the doctor,
next time be careful while giving feeds children are very sensitive to these things.

Since juice was sour it must be outdated,also he was fed old furmula
Since he is fine so need to worry.side effect could be vomiting.
observe him for 24 hours.
