Child Has Dark Spots Between Legs, Above Testicles. Normal?

Good evening Dr. My question is with regards to skin discoloration. Basically my 7 month old started to get darker spots mainly in between his legs. Also he got this darker spot just above his testicles it looks like a birth mark but he did not get it when he was born. They were all noticeable in the last 4-8 weeks. Is this normal? And what causes it?

good morning, without examining the child in detail its difficult to diagnose these kinds of things on the internet. the dark spots u r telling might be mongolian spots, which are harmless, but these spots are present from birth, they dont appear after 7 months of age, so my advice for u is , kindly get ur child examined by a doctor for confirmation. thank you.
