Hello,
I went through your statement regarding your son. His height and weight are normal for his age. Celiac disease is excluded. He is regularly on Antibiotic and probiotic. All his activities are normal.
Stop all the Antibiotics and continue the pro biotic alone.
As his weight is ok his digestion should also be OK.
Do the Motion for - Macro, Micro and Culture and sensitivity
The only complaint he is having is normal stool alternating with loose stools.
If you say loose stool as stomach infection, you are wrong and no antibiotic is indicated immediately. If at all you can give is a course of Anti amoebic and one dose of anti worm treatment. You can try digestive enzymes.
Give him healthy food avoiding milk for certain periods - may be milk intolerance.
If all these measures fail, then do further investigations
A routine blood test - TC, DC, ESR, Hb will be useful.
As he is not having any other symptoms other than GI disturbances, don't put a rubber stamp as IBS in the initial stage itself.
Best wishes
