Child Has Green Diarrhea, Fever, Cold. Is It A Consequence Of Colic?

Hello, I have a 2 months and half baby girl, we went to the pediatrician one week ago because she was with fever and cold. Since three days, her temperature is between 99.1 to 100.2 take it rectal, her cough is going away but at least once a day she got diarrhea, is watery green. She is not in pain just fussy sometimes and her belly is never getting hard. I know that at this age the colic can happened so is possible that she is with colic and the diarrhea is a consequence of that? What can I do for help her? She is on formula since she is born, she is eating the Similac Advance about 5 oz every 4 hours.

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
Child is suffering with symptoms of mild viral infection.Which should gradually subside the symptomatic treatment as advised by your Pead.
Green stools could be because of some GIT infection. Which can be attributed to the infection contracted often by bottle feed.
Stool culture and sensitivity exactly may guide for the proper medicine to be used for the treatment of green loose stools.
Hope the query is answered.
Thanks
