Child Has Grommets Tube. Bleeding And Constant Infection. Where Is It Coming From?

Hi there... my son had grommets inserted about 6 weeks ago (he is 11 months old now) and over the last 3 weeks he has continued to have ear infections that lead to bleeding . It isn t bothering him but I am concerned about the constant infection and the bleeding... where is it coming from? I have visited our GP each time and he just gives us antibiotics and ear drops.

Hi
The bleeding may be coming from middle ear because of infections or from externa ear because of some scrathing by the child . You consult an ENT Specialist and seek ear examination of your child to rule of any infection and the cause for bleeding
