Child Has Liquid Filled Bumps. No Fever. What May It Be?
Hi, I have an 8.5 month old male infant who has appx 20 small red bumps, at least half of these bumps have a clear liquid inside of them. He doesn t appear to be uncomfortable at the moment, but has been a little crabby in the last two days. The bumps kind of remind me of chicken pox , do you have any clue what it may be? I have taken his temp and there is no fever . Thank you.
Hi
The location of the liquid filled bumps is important as in chickenpox leisons are more on trunk and sparse on the limbs. They are pleoporphic means they will transform from fluid filled to pus filled and cloudy and some times blood filled leisons. So consult your Pediatrician to diagnose it and for the proper medication advise.
