Child Not Able To Breathe Through Nose While Sleeping. Has Runny Nose. Cure?

My two year old son, cannot breath through his nose while sleeping. Every breath he is forced to open his mouth disturbing his sleep also. We got him checked with an ENT specialist . He does not have adenoid enlargement problem. He has runny nose most of the time. His breathing is ok during the day. In the night while sleeping, he also breathes very heavily, when he is able to breathe with nose.

Hi,
Welcome to HCm,
From his symptoms it seems that due to congestion in nasal mucosa, nose is blocked.
This condition gives problem at night only as at this time nose is totally blocked giving air passage blockage.
Give your son decongestant syrup like Benadryl, cyneral, D-cold.
You can put Otrivin pediatric nasal drops in the nose during night time.
Ok and bye.
