Child S Tailbone Area Is Discolored. Has Brownish Purple Dot On Shoulder. Cause?
hi my daughter is almost 6 months old .. she is a molado baby .. ever since she was about 3 months or so ive noticed her tail bone area is discolored... almost like a greenish bruise color and theres a small brownish purpl dot on her sholder... im not sure y these discolorations of the skin have been here for such a long yime . please help . thanks

Hi dear,
They are probably mongolian spots which look like bruises. But they are harmless non cancerous and will fade as time passes sometimes few years. Nothing to worry much, just confirm with your pediatrcian on your next visit.
