Child Suffering From Cold, Cough. Prescribed Montiscope For Throat Pain, Cough Earlier. Continue Same Medication Or Relent?
Hi Doctor,
My son (3 years) is suffering from cold and severe cough for 3 -4 days. I am giving him Ascoril LS+ and Relent +.
When he was recovering he ate some oil items yesterday and got throat pain and continous cough from yesterday night. Before he had same kind of throat pain and continous cough, Doctor prescribed with Monticope and it reduced then. Shall I go by treating him with Monticope suspension. Please advise.

u are giving your child ascoril +relent . this contains levosalbutamol which is broncho dilator and relent contains cetirizine which is antihistaminic or antiallergy
because of some oil item his complaint may increases .
but you no need to give monticope .
ascoril+relent continue with this .
wate for 3-4 days
steam would be helpful
