Child Suffering With Green, Watery And Sticky Stool. Microbial Test Turned Negative. Possible Causes?

Hi, my 2 years old daughter last couple months has dark green,mushy,watery and sticky stool, sometimes mustard green colour. Yesterday she was eating watermelon, and this morning she had diarrhoea red-brown and later she also had diarrhoea.We did stool test seven days ago on parasites, bacteria and viruses and they did not find anything. But I am still concerned, should I be worried and go to see doctor ??? Can you tell me please what can possible cause those problems. Thank you

thanks for your query at HCM
these all symptoms can be due to feeding problems.
exclusively breast feed the child for 6 months , no other food materials or packaged powder.
this will improve the child bowel condition help him to pass normal stools.
even on breast feeding if the child is having these symptoms you might consult pediatrician for further evaluation and medication

Hi. You should consult your doctor for further management. He may be suffering from problem in hepatobiliary or in pancreas. Needs complete hemogram, pancreatic enzymes, LFT and USG abdomen and pelvis to diagnose the problem and further management.
