Choking, Breathing Difficulty While Coughing, Burp, Runny Nose. Advise?

When I cough ,i find myself choking and unable to breath.I also seat, burb and runny noise.
I have had a least one bad eposode a day and i actually think I would die ckoking and gaging for air.
It feels like my throught closeres up and I have to train myself to breath through my nose while tryinh to carm myself.
It is very scary because I can bring it on almost anytime if I feel I have a tickle in the back of my thought.
The same simptos occur if I burp or hipcup.
What do you think?

Do you have any heartburn symptoms? This can be caused by reflux. Do you wake up with a salty taste in your mouth in the a.m.? I would try taking an over the counter acid blocker like prilosec or protonix and see if this helps your symptoms.
