Could C-Diff Cause Diarrhea Full Of Bright Blood ?

I suffered from C-Diff 2 weeks ago and was in the hospital before they found out what my problem was. Well now i m home but my husband took the remaining medicine i had because he also got sick. Now I am doing just fine but my husband has diahrea and it s full of bright red blood. Could C-Diff be his problem or is it something else? He has been like this for 3 days.

It is good that you have recovered from C-diff and are fine.
The query is about your husband having diarrhea and bright red blood per rectum.
The commonest cause of bright red blood in stool is hemorrhoids, fissure or an ulcer in rectum or distal colon.
This may be due to C-diff but there will be other signs and symptoms.
Hence I would advise him the following:
Consult the Doctor as soon as possible for clinical evaluation.
Tests of stool and blood.
To get started on proper prescription based treatment.
Plenty of oral fluids.
Watch for the blood loss and get replaced if needed; get admitted as needed.
Better not to have self-treatment.
