Could Air Bubbles In Vagina Be Symptom Of Fistula Or Bacterial Infection?

I have a air bubbles in vagina, sometimes it feels lodged there. Not escaping like forceful gas, just bubbles. Been to obgyn, no abnormal swabs or bacteria, yeast or anything found. No foul or abnormal discharge. I am terrified of fistula, but would think bacteria would be present. Should I be worried?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Yes a fistula would have bacteria present along with other accompanying symptoms. I think a fistula os highly unlikely with your presentation but if nothing is putting your mind to rest then you could request for a hysteroscopy which will.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
