Could An AB Gym Belt Be Used If Epilepsy History Is There?

Hi there, I have had "petti mal", a very mild form of epilepsy for over 40 years, with no problems at all, controlled by tablets each day, very small dose. I am not light sensitive, and have just bought an AB gym belt for toning muscles, but have just noticed it says "do not use if you have epilepsy". As mine is so mild, is it worth trying it on a very low setting, as I do most things on a "do and see" basis? Thanks B

If the manufacturer has a stated warning on the product that specifically tells the user NOT TO USE IF YOU HAVE EPILEPSY then, for your own safety I would simply give the device back. You're taking a huge risk by using the equipment and the company would certainly have no liability if anything were to happen to you. My best advice is to follow the company's warning and get an alternative device to work the abs. There are a million of them out there that DO NOT warn against people with epilepsy using them. Use one of those. Good luck.
