my son had an electrical shock at work yesterday. We visited er and his platelet count was in the 20 s, reson was unknown, also showed cp was elevated which indicates muscle damage. Today, test were repeated, inluding liver panel, which was normal. Platelets were 30 and cp was normal. Could an electrical shock cause low platelets?
