Could Blisters On Foot With Red Spots Be Viral Infection?

My 5 year old has blisters on the bottom of her foot mainly around the toes. Also she has red spots in the middle and bottom of the foot. I had to take her to the Dr. on Monday because she had a viral infection. Could the blisters be from the viral infection ?

Hi...by what you quote I feel it is Hand-Foot-Mouth disease. It is a trivial viral infection which is self limiting but very irritating due to itching. Sometime there may be skin peeling of hand s and feet 4-6 weeks from now. But right now for the itching you can give some over the counter anti allergic medications. But skin conditions are always found out only after visual examination. I suggest you upload images in this website or consult your pediatrician for confirming the diagnosis.
