Could Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Body Be Due To A Stroke?
I had a rt thalmic stroke 15 years ago. Only symptom was slight numbness in left side of face. Never had any other problem than that. Today about an hour ago I now have a slight numbness/tingling on left side. I am 55 yo female, 49 year history of juvenile diabetes, less than 24% renal function, bilater peripheral neuropathy, retinopathy(controlled), hyperlipidemia. Could this be a left thalmic stroke?

As per your explanation I suggest numbness could be because of neuropathy also due to diabetes. As well if you have numbness for entire body then yes it can be possible the starting symptoms of stroke. In both cases it's a alarm for you. You can consult your physician and check with bloop pressure and medication. Also do take mri of brain just to check there should not be any on going damage in brain. If every thing is fine then i suggest to start some regular walking or cycling activity which can warm up you body and improvement blood circulation. So that it will help for both your kidney and diabetes too. Just follow what I have suggest and don't get panic as well don't take tension. Hope this was useful for you take care.
