Could Pain In Upper Stomach While Lying Down, Chills, Difficulty To Drink Hot Fluids Indicate Damaged Stomach?

Hi I have been getting a darting pain in my upper stomach especially at night when i lie down followed by chills that last about an hour. Find it hard to drink hot fluids like tea or coffee. I have had this coming and going for the last two months. I dont take alcohol that often but i was out with friends for a birthday party about 2 months ago and it started the day after. We had a lot to drink. Could i have damaged my stomach. Thank you

Hi and Welcome to HCM,

This may be due food poisoning. Please do blood Widal test. Consult your doctor. Take a course of antibiotics. If needed go for ultrasound. Nothing to worry. Drink plenty of water.
