Could Purple Bruise Under Eye Be Connected To Crohn S Disease?
I am 44 years old and I woke up this morning with an unexplained purple bruise under my right eye. Could this strangely be connected to Crohn s disease? I have had ITP in the past too and I m concerned that the bruising is related to a reoccurrence of that condition.

Well possible, in ITP due to disease per say and chronic medication you could have vitamin K deficiency which is normally generated by healthy colonic bateria(major portion and rest by diet).
Vitamin K deficiency causes bleeding diathesis. But you need complete nutrition,inflammatory status evaluation and also your treatment profile which could lead to bleeding tendency.
